Terms and Conditions
How you may use this website, and how professional work is engaged, when you work with Excellent Bridge LLC for tax, accounting, payroll, CFO, or wealth services.
Who we are
Excellent Bridge LLC (“Excellent Bridge,” “we,” “us”) is a professional services firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We provide tax planning and preparation, bookkeeping and payroll, CFO and business advisory, wealth planning, and related membership services for individuals, families, and business owners.
What these terms cover
Website visitors
- Browsing excellent-bridge.com
- Contact and quote forms
- Public content, links, and accounts used only to view the site
Clients and members
- Tax, books, payroll, CFO, wealth, and membership work
- The client portal and files you send for an engagement
- Fees, deadlines, and professional standards in your letter
By using the website you agree to these terms. Becoming a client or member also requires a separate engagement letter or membership agreement. We do not start professional work from a website visit alone.
Using the website
You may use the site for lawful purposes: to learn about our services, request a conversation, or — if you are a client — to reach the portal. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it in a way that harms the service, or share another person’s login.
The site may link to third-party tools and pages. Those sites have their own terms. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Services
Depending on the engagement, we may provide:
- Tax planning, return preparation, and IRS representation where engaged
- Bookkeeping, payroll, and related filings
- CFO and business advisory
- Wealth planning coordination
- Membership and business-club benefits described in that program
Not every visitor receives every service. Scope, deliverables, and timing are set in the engagement letter or membership agreement you sign — not in marketing copy on this website.
Engagements and membership
Professional services begin when both sides have agreed in writing — typically an engagement letter, organizer, or membership agreement. That document states the work, the fee, who is responsible for records, and how the relationship ends.
Website use is not an engagement.
Requesting a quote, booking a call, or creating a portal login does not, by itself, create a CPA or EA client relationship. Continued browsing does not amend your membership terms.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate information and source documents in time for the work
- Keep portal and website logins private
- Review organizers, drafts, and e-file authorizations before you approve them
- Tell us promptly if your facts change — entities, income, family, or addresses
- Pay invoices according to the engagement letter
Tax and accounting work depends on what you give us. We cannot complete or file a return, payroll form, or advisory deliverable if required information is missing or late.
Professional advice
Advice we give is for the facts you have described and the engagement you have signed. It is not a guarantee of a particular tax result, refund, audit outcome, or investment performance. Tax law changes, and the IRS or a state agency may take a different view.
Website articles, calculators, and examples are general information. They are not a substitute for advice on your file. Written tax advice that is intended to be relied on will be identified as such in the engagement.
Fees
Fees, retainers, and membership dues are set in the engagement letter or membership agreement. Published ranges or “from” amounts on the website are illustrations, not a quote. Additional work outside the original scope is billed as agreed in writing before we proceed, except where a filing deadline requires immediate action you have already authorized.
Confidentiality and the portal
How we collect and protect information is described in our Privacy Policy. Tax return information is used to perform the engagement, subject to federal law and professional confidentiality rules.
Send sensitive files through the client portal when it is available, not through open email. Keep your credentials secure. If you think an account has been compromised, tell us at once.
Intellectual property
The Excellent Bridge name, logo, site design, and original content on this website belong to Excellent Bridge LLC. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission. Workpapers, returns, and reports we prepare for you are handled as your engagement letter and professional standards require — you receive the deliverables of the engagement; we retain copies we are required to keep.
Limitation of liability
The website is provided as a convenience. We are not liable for website downtime, third-party links, or decisions you make from general content on the site.
Professional services are governed by your engagement letter, Michigan law, and the professional standards that apply to CPAs and enrolled agents. We do not disclaim liability that professional rules or law do not allow us to disclaim. We are not liable for results that follow from incomplete, late, or inaccurate information you provided, or from a tax position an authority later disputes, except as your engagement letter and applicable law provide.
Ending the relationship
You may stop using the website at any time. We may suspend website or portal access if it is misused or if security requires it.
A professional engagement or membership ends in the manner set out in that agreement — including notice, unpaid fees, and our duty to return or retain records. We will not abandon a filing deadline without communicating, but we are not required to continue unpaid work beyond what the engagement letter and professional rules require.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Professional engagements may specify a forum in the engagement letter; if they do not, U. S. Federal law and Michigan law applies.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version is effective when we post it here with a revised “Last updated” date. Changes to a signed engagement or membership are made in writing as that agreement requires — posting a website update does not rewrite your engagement letter.
